Valero L.P. Selects EnergySolutions to Standardize Offline Pipeline Management System

Energy Solutions International, the Houston-based leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software, today announced that Valero L.P. has selected PipelineStudio(R) to standardize its offline simulation system. Valero L.P. evaluated and purchased PipelineStudio after its acquisition of the Kaneb pipeline, which currently relies on the PipelineStudio product.

“Once we acquired the Kaneb pipeline system, we wanted to begin the process of standardization for our offline hydraulic modeling,” said Keith Taylor of Valero L.P. “Our evaluation of PipelineStudio was very positive. The product was robust in that sophisticated simulations could be done. We look forward to a continued relationship with EnergySolutions.”

PipelineStudio is a leading simulation and design product for pipeline systems that is used extensively by pipeline and engineering companies. Valero L.P. has over 9,000 miles of pipeline, 89 terminal facilities and four crude oil storage facilities.
