Qatar Petroleum Expands Use of EnergySolutions' PipelineStudio Software

Includes Improved PipelineStudio Liquids Module in Network License

Houston, TX, August 5, 2008.  Energy Solutions International, Inc., a world-leading supplier of software solutions that optimize operational and commercial performance of oil and gas pipelines, announced that Qatar Petroleum has expanded to a network license for PipelineStudio® pipeline design and off-line simulation software. A long-time user of PipelineStudio for its gas applications, Qatar Petroleum upgraded to version 3.1 of the software and added the liquids module.

PipelineStudio is the industry-leading pipeline design and engineering solution that combines graphical configuration and reporting tools with industry-proven simulation engines. It provides fast, accurate, robust and reliable answers to a wide range of steady-state and transient analysis challenges.
