EnergySolutions and Customers Present Four Leading-Edge Technical Papers at PSIG Conference

Experts from Energy Solutions International, in partnership with customers, presented a record number of papers at this year’s Pipeline Simulation Interest Group (PSIG) meeting held November 7-9 in San Antonio, Texas. The PSIG forum is the pipeline industry’s leading venue for presentation of the state of the art in the areas of modeling, leak detection, simulation and optimization. The four papers from EnergySolutions included:

“A case study of how transient analysis facilitates asset optimization” by Déaglán Healy, Bord Gáis Éireann (BGE), and Paul Dickerson, Energy Solutions International.
“Selecting an Effective Leak Detection Strategy,” by Kevin Webb, Jon Barley, Energy Solutions International.

“Training tools to evaluate pipeline operator performance and to validate pipeline operational procedures,” by Jackeline Córdova, Andrés Mendizábal, Oleoducto de Crudos Pesados (OCP), Ecuador S.A., and Morten Kristiansen, René Varón, Energy Solutions International.

“Expert Alarm System,” Michael Bryant, Rod Dodson, Florida Gas Transmission, and Søren Hvidbjerg, Energy Solutions International.

The PSIG is an annual meeting held each year in October at various locations around the world. This conference is attended by engineers and operators from major gas and oil companies, specialized consultants, and universities from North and South America, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia.
