EnergySolutions Unveils PipelineManager(R) 3.0 at Houston Petroleum Club Launch Event

Houston, TX, January 25, 2007. EHouston, TX, January 25, 2007. Energy Solutions International, the Houston-based leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software, has released a new version of its industry-leading pipeline management and leak detection product, PipelineManager(R).

EnergySolutions demonstrated the new capabilities of PipelineManager yesterday at the Houston Petroleum Club. The launch event also included Spencer Abraham, former U.S. Secretary of Energy, now head of international strategic consulting firm The Abraham Group; Tony Botterweck, former president of Koch Pipelines; and Dr. Benjamin Cooper, recently retired executive director of the Association of Oil Pipelines (AOPL).

PipelineManager 3.0, now available for general release, includes a new state-of-the-art graphical user interface called VisualPipeline(R). This interface enables easy visualization of long-term trending, 3-D profiles and historical line fill with time slider and animation so users can quickly see the changes in the pipeline over time. Besides being easy to set up and use, VisualPipeline also provides instant access to any thermo hydraulic property anywhere within the network.

Other PipelineManager 3.0 features include enhanced leak detection capabilities, such as leak location accuracy, deviation based leak detection and compensated volume balance. The device library has been expanded to encompass detailed pump model with PID controls, various tank models, heaters and coolers, and control valves.
