EnergySolutions Releases PipelineStudio 3.1

Houston, TX, September 13, 2007.  Energy Solutions International, the Houston-based leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software, today announced a new release of its industry-leading pipeline engineering and design product, PipelineStudio(R), which helps pipeline companies reduce operating costs through proven steady-state and transient hydraulic modeling.

Version 3.1 of PipelineStudio, currently available for general release, delivers world leading pipeline simulation technology on both Windows XP® and Windows Vista®. With its growing user base and increased applicability throughout the enterprise, the emphasis in the latest release has been to enable the provision of data from PipelineStudio for deployment on the corporate server. This is achieved by providing simulation data in XML: deploying this, along with web scripts on a Web Server allows anyone with sufficient access privileges to review the data. Furthermore, PipelineStudio 3.1 provides the necessary JavaScript and HTML to enable rapid development and deployment of custom built reports. An embedded browser is also included within the application to provide the user with the ability to review the data from within PipelineStudio itself.

PipelineStudio 3.1 also includes numerous other improvements to the modeling capability in both the gas and liquid applications. PipelineStudio integrates with EnergySolutions’ PipelineManager(R), the real-time online pipeline monitoring system, for a consistent view of the pipeline network. The product is downloadable from the EnergySolutions website for quick and easy installation.
