EnergySolutions Releases PipelineManager 3.1

Houston, TX, January 8, 2009.  Energy Solutions International, Inc., a world-leading supplier of software solutions that optimize operational and commercial performance of oil and gas pipelines, has released version 3.1 of PipelineManager® pipeline management software, which helps companies maintain operating permits, minimize the risk of leaks and product theft, and efficiently operate pipelines.

Highlights of the software release include:

• Detailed Batch Interface Profiling to know exactly how much trans-mix you have in your pipeline.
• Instrument Analysis to know when instrument maintenance is required.
• Enhanced Playback capabilities to understand what happened on the pipeline yesterday, and what could have improved the situation.
• SCADA Simulator Utility for realistic leak studies, including noise and other instrumentation-related factors.
• Web Service API for complete data access and control for third party applications.
• Enhanced Scraper Tracking to launch and edit scrapers in seconds.

PipelineManager 3.1 also features numerous additional improvements for both gas and liquid applications, including those requested by users. For example, because PipelineManager integrates with ESI’s PipelineStudio® offline design and analysis software, users can now find online help related to PipelineManager from within PipelineStudio while configuring pipeline networks.

With more than 150 installations worldwide, PipelineManager provides accurate leak detection and location, batch/product/composition tracking, capacity determination, throughput optimization, fuel cost minimization, automated operational warnings and survival time, what-if analysis and operator training.
