Energy Solutions International Updates Industry-Leading PipelineStudio Software

Houston, Texas (May 4, 2010) – Energy Solutions International, Inc. (ESI), a world-leading supplier of software solutions for oil and gas pipelines, introduced PipelineStudio® v 3.2.5 with a series of enhancements designed to improve performance and user friendliness.

PipelineStudio is ESI's industry-leading solution for pipeline network design and planning using offline steady-state and transient simulations. Enhancements to PipelineStudio 3.2.5 include:

• Split Pipe functionality allowing an existing pipe to be split into two, with the option to insert equipment at the split point.
• Data blocks can now be added to nodes.
• Graying out of elements: Elements can be excluded from the simulation without being removed from the configuration.
• Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) Equation of State has been made available for use in PipelineStudio Gas.
• Improved survey functionality, including the use of a survey-path in PipelineStudio Liquid.
• New security feature, including the use of an authorization key received from ESI Customer Care team to complete installation.
