Dr. Jo Webber Joins EnergySolutions as Vice Chairman and CEO

Energy Solutions International, the Houston-based leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software, today announced the appointment of Dr. Jo Webber to vice chairman and chief executive officer. Dr. Webber is an experienced software executive who has spent her career providing enterprise software solutions to many of the world’s leading corporations.

“I have worked with Jo for some time and am very excited about continuing to collaborate with her to take EnergySolutions into the future,” said Al Jacob, president of EnergySolutions. “She will be a great addition to our team.”

Dr. Webber served as president and CEO of InnaPhase Corporation. When the company was sold to Thermo Electron (TMO) in 2004, she became vice president of Thermo Informatics. During her tenure at InnaPhase, Dr. Webber led the company in its acquisition of the Laboratory Automation Operations division of Beckman Coulter (BEC). She earned a doctorate in quantum physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in applied chemistry from the University of Nottingham Trent in the United Kingdom. Dr. Webber is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. She serves on the boards of Maxwell Systems, a provider of construction accounting software applications, and Octagon Research, a clinical R&D software and services provider.

Ann Casaday also has joined the EnergySolutions management team as vice president for Global Sales, responsible for managing the global sales organization. Casaday brings a wealth of experience to the sales organization, previously serving as director of North American Sales for Thermo Informatics and vice president of North American Sales for InnaPhase Corporation. Before that she worked for 10 years in the oil and gas industry in both engineering and technology sales. Casaday has a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
